Charming Pub, Boutique Rooms

There are a million reasons why staying in a pub, beats staying in a hotel. Whether it’s the cheery welcome from Landlord Ryan, our lip-smackingly good breakfast spread (including the ultimate oldie but goodie; the dippy egg), or having a buzzing pub downstairs.

Our 47 comfy rooms are kitted out in hotel fashion, and some even boast gorgeous riverside views and a minibar that’s full to the brim with our favourite treats. With spacious family rooms, and dog beds upon request, we’re the ideal stay for adventurers’ muddy boots, as well as staycationers’ tad over packed luggage.

We’re a hop, skip & a jump (or a 25-minute drive if we’re being precise) from Heathrow airport, making us the ideal stop-over for a relaxed night’s sleep before the airport run, followed by the routine pre-flight dash for some sunnies and bug spray.

If you’re staying this side of the pond for a whistle-stop trip, wander into our pub, and set up shop in a cosy corner. You’ll find our friendly team ready to serve well-kept ales and seasonal British dishes. Or, if you’re looking to enjoy a riverside ramble, pre-book a table beside the crackling fire, and enjoy a glass of fruity red before venturing up to bed.

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Chertsey?

We love our little riverside spot in Chertsey, and we just know you will too.

We think a 2-night stay is pretty perfect and if you’re keeping your stay short and sweet, you’ll have a great time (but there’s just so much to see and do in Chertsey that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us).

Staying a little longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure Chertsey props the top of your getaway list every time.

What are the best things to do in Chertsey?

There’s a whole host of things to do and see while you’re here.

Thrill-seekers rejoice, as Thorpe Park is a short drive away. For the motor heads, Brooklands museum is nearby. And for history buffs, we’re just a hop away from Hampton Court and Windsor Castle.

We also love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask for more hints and tips when you’re here. We’re a friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our lovely pub to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7am-10:30am on weekdays, and 8am-10:30am over weekends (we all deserve a little lie-in, after all).

If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

Our Bigger Comfy rooms are ideal for families, with space for cots for little ones and sofa beds or fold-out beds (for bigger little ones) available upon request.

Simply pop a note in the “I have a comment” section in step 3 when booking direct.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Pub-loving pups are more than welcome. Our Comfy rooms on the ground floor are all dog-friendly.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

We’ve got heaps of on-site parking. And juts a heads up, you’ll need to grab a exit token from the bar or reception on your way out.

How do I get to you via public transport?

Hop on a train from London Waterloo, then hop off at Chertsey train station. We’re then a 5-minute taxi ride away. You can usually find taxis just outside the station and you’ll be with us in a jiffy.

Heading to the airport? Heathrow is a 20-30 minute drive away (depending on the terminal), meaning you can get your holiday off to a leisurely start.
